The Columbia Fireflies Reading Program is back by popular demand. We're teaming up to support schools throughout the Midlands to inspire students to read around the bases!
- Students who complete the program will receive one complimentary ticket and one (1) Junior Hot Dog and Soda which they will receive at the Fireflies game they attend through the Reading Program student ticket barcode.
- Your School will be recognized on our videoboard and students will have the opportunity to run the bases post-game!
- Your school can book a Reading Program appearance with our Mascot, Mason, Staff or players, based upon availability or surprise top readers with the opportunity for a ballpark tour, pre-game photo on the field or first pitch!
- Complete the enrollment form now so you can start planning the date you plan on starting and ending the program
How It Works
1) You decide on the objective that works best for your grade level and/or classroom.
- Number of books
- Number of Pages
- Amount of time (minutes or hours)
2) Once students complete the program, you can share the ticket link so they can claim their child’s ticket and enjoy a Fireflies game together. The Food Voucher will be on the child's ticket barcode.
- If parents can’t attend the school’s designated night, we’ll also provide an additional link for them to choose another Reading Program game date.
3) When sending the link to parents, please BCC [email protected] on all communication so Annika can help answer any questions parents/guardians may have when placing their ticket orders.
- All Reading Program tickets are first come, first served in The Gregory Technologies Reserve sections of the ballpark. Additional upgrades are available upon request. To upgrade your tickets, call Annika Slaby at (803) 888-3010 or reach out via email at [email protected]
