Perdue Stadium Info

Since Arthur W. Perdue Stadium opened in 1996, the Shorebirds have become an integral part of the Delmarva community. As the only professional sports team in the area, our team and our stadium are one of the staples of the Eastern Shore. Spawned by the efforts of Franklin P. Perdue, Perdue's leadership, vision, and commitment to small town values helped him build one of the most successful companies in America.

7th Inning Stretch, LP purchased the Shorebirds in 2007 from Comcast Spectacor. Since acquiring the team, 7th Inning Stretch has gone to great length to improve fan experience and Arthur W. Perdue Stadium itself. A new videoboard, all new seats, a 360 wrap around deck, and many more upgrades have been installed to help grow fan experience and make Arthur W. Perdue Stadium the best place for fun, family entertainment on the eastern shore.

As a part of the Shorebirds' new lease agreement with Wicomico County, a large number of improvements are planned to ensure that Perdue Stadium is able to entertain fans for generations to come. As we enter our 25th season, it is our goal to continually look for ways to improve the grounds at Arthur W. Perdue stadium and the overall fan experience.
