Three Giveaways Highlight Four Game Homestand

SALISBURY, Md. -- The Delmarva Shorebirds make their way back to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium for a four game series with the Hagerstown Suns (affiliate of the Washington Nationals) that runs from Thursday, May 17th through Sunday, May 20th. Great giveaways, fireworks, a jersey auction, and more are included during this homestand.
The Shorebirds begin the series on Thursday, May 17th with a Shorebirds Pink Hat Giveaway to the first 1,000 fans through the gates, presented by Spicer Bros. Construction, Inc. and in conjunction with Women Supporting Women. 16 oz. cans of Miller Lite and Coors Light as well as Pepsi fountain drinks are $2 each for KISS 95.9 Thirsty Thursday, presented by University Village at Salisbury. The Shorebirds will be sporting their Maryland Pride jerseys so show your support by wearing your own Maryland Pride gear. Gates open at 6:00 PM with first pitch against the Hagerstown Suns scheduled for 7:05 PM.
On Friday, May 18th, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Jonathan Schoop Replica Shorebirds Jersey, presented by Delaware Express. 32 oz. drafts of Miller Lite and Coors Light are $6 for Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday. The Shorebirds will be rocking their Orange Friday jerseys so show your support by wearing orange, as well. Gates open at 6:00 PM with first pitch against the Hagerstown Suns scheduled for 7:05 PM.
Saturday, May 19th is PRMC Pink Pitch Night. The Shorebirds will be wearing pink jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game on the second level concourse to benefit the Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Saturday is also Little League Night. To bring your Little League Team out to the game, call Josh Knupp at 410-219-3112 ext. 135. Make sure to stick around after the game for a fantastic Q105 Fireworks show! Gates open at 4:00 PM to watch Shorebirds and Suns batting practice. From 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, fans can purchase slices of pizza and small popcorn for $1 each at the Pizza Stand. Draft beers can be purchased by fans age 21 or older for $5 each. Inflatable games for kids will be free of charge from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Also, two Shorebirds players will be available to sign autographs in the Flock Shop before each Saturday home game from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM against the Hagerstown Suns.
The Shorebirds will be giving away a Chance Sisco Jumbo Baseball Card to the first 1,000 fans through the gates on Sunday, May 20th. This game is included with the Shorebirds' Kids Club membership, presented by Maryland Excels. Bring 2 canned food items to the Shorebirds box office and receive an upper reserved ticket for $3. All collected items will be donated to the local area food banks.
