FRISCO, Texas (March 1, 2023) - In conjunction with the RoughRiders Foundation, the Frisco RoughRiders will host the March Gladness Clothing Drive presented by CoServ at Riders Field from March 1st through March 28th with proceeds to benefit The Storehouse of Collin County.

There will be a donation box in the lobby of the RoughRiders administrative office where you can drop off gently used clothing, especially children’s clothes, blankets, coats, sneakers, sheets/linens and comforters. We are unable to accept jewelry, household items, electrical items, furniture, cribs and car seats.

"We are thrilled to once again host March Gladness at Riders Field this year," RoughRiders General Manager Scott Burchett said. "CoServ and The Storehouse of Collin County both share the community-based ideals of the RoughRiders and we are honored to support such phenomenal organizations."

Ever since the Storehouse of Collin County has been open since 2009, providing meals, clothing and care to those in Collin County ever since.

"The Storehouse is incredibly grateful for our long-standing partnership with the Frisco RoughRiders," said The Storehouse of Collin County Executive Director Candace Winslow. "In so many ways, the RoughRiders organization and fans have faithfully stood behind our mission to feed, clothe and care as neighbors in one community. There is no doubt that the clothes collected during this drive will indeed translate into “March gladness” for those we serve!"

The Frisco RoughRiders won the 2022 Texas League Championship, their second title in franchise history. Season tickets for the 2023 season are on sale now. For tickets and more information about the Frisco RoughRiders, visit RidersBaseball.com or call 972.731.9200.

About the RoughRiders

The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and the 2022 Texas League champions. In 2023, the team is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has consistently finished in the top five among all Double-A franchises in attendance yearly. In August 2014, the RoughRiders were purchased by an ownership group led by Chuck Greenberg. Since then, the new ownership group, together with the City of Frisco, has spearheaded numerous major franchise enhancements, investing over $8 million in a wide array of facility upgrades and improvements, including a state-of-the-art HD video board, sound system, Bull Moose Saloon, Bullpen Bar, Riders Outpost Team Store and the world's largest water feature in a sports facility, the massive Lazy River. These enhancements earned the Riders and the City of Frisco Ballpark Digest's prestigious "Best Ballpark Renovation" award for two consecutive years (2015 and 2016). More than 185 former RoughRiders players have gone on to play Major League Baseball including current Rangers Josh Jung, Cole Ragans and Bubba Thompson.
