Juan Mejia entered in the fourth inning with the bases loaded and no outs; he ended the inning with just one inherited runner scoring. Mejia went two scoreless innings before giving up three runs in the sixth.

The RoughRiders put a run on the board in the eighth inning when Aaron Zavala scored from first base on Dustin Harris' double to right center. Zavala had been hit by a pitch earlier in the inning. He went 1-for-1 in the ballgame with two free passes and the sac fly.
