The Harrisburg Senators fell to Richmond 4-2 Sunday afternoon at FNB Field. The Senators tied the game at 2-2 in the third inning on a Drew Ward solo home run, but the Flying Squirrels scored single runs in the seventh and eighth innings to avoid a series sweep. Richmond's pitching staff combined to retire 15 of the final 17 Senators batters faced.

On Capitol Hill
•   Jackson Tetreault pitched six innings and allowed a pair of runs on two hits while walking six and striking out three. He threw 94 pitches, 45 strikes in the no-decision.
•   Justin Miller, Jordan Mills and Bryan Bonnell all tossed one inning with Miller allowing a hit and an unearned run to take the loss (0-1).
With the Gavel
•   Drew Ward finished 1-for-3 and hit his ninth home run of the season in his second game back with the Senators.
•   Nick Banks was the only Senator batter with a multi-hit game going 2-for-4 with an RBI. He is now 8-for-15 with five RBIs with the Senators.
