The Harrisburg Senators fell to the Akron RubberDucks 7-5 Wednesday afternoon at FNB Field. The Senators held a 5-1 lead in the sixth before Akron scored six unanswered runs to salvage a game in the series.

Bobby Bradley opened the scoring with a solo home run to leadoff the second to put Akron ahead 1-0.
The Senators scored three runs in the fourth to take the lead. The first five hitters of the frame recorded singles, including RBI knocks by Jake Noll and Taylor Gushue. Zach Collier followed with a sacrifice fly to right as the team took a 3-1 advantage.
Carter Kieboom doubled in a run in the fifth and later in the frame Noll drove him home with a run-scoring single as team took a 5-1 lead.
The 'Ducks came back for four in the top of the sixth to tie it on five hits and a walk, highlighted by a two-run double from Tyler Krieger.
Akron broke the 5-5 tie with a pair of runs in the eighth on a run scoring triple by Krieger and he scored on a wild pitch during the next at-bat.
"We walked guys and put pressure on ourselves in some tough spots. It's just one of those parts of the game where you can't give the other team free passes," Senators manager Matt LeCroy said. "They have a first place team and that's what happens. You let them back in the game and you see what happens."
The Senators were retired in order in the ninth, with the final out recorded by Argenis Angulo, who notched his eighth save and sealed the 7-5 win.
Noll, Gushue, Kieboom and Jones each finished with two hits, with Noll extending his hitting streak to 13 games.
"(Noll) is a good competitor, he's staying up the middle and using the whole field. He's an aggressive hitter that's putting together really good at-bats," LeCroy said. "I really like what he's doing on defense too. Hopefully he can stay healthy and help us win some ballgames."
The Senators finished the homestand 4-3 after splitting a four-game series with Hartford and taking two of three from the first-place 'Ducks.
"I thought we had a good homestand. Whenever you play a team like Akron who's scrappy like us, to win two out of three is good," LeCroy said. "I'm really proud of how the guys fought and battled. We had some big come from behind wins in this series. Hopefully our guys are ready to have a good trip (to New Hampshire) and they'll be ready to win the series."
Ryan Zimmerman went 1-for-4 with a run scored in his second rehab game with the Senators.
The Senators embark on a seven-game road trip which starts Thursday night against the New Hampshire Fishercats. Tyler Mapes starts for the Senators opposite New Hampshire starter T.J. Zeuch. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
