The Hartford Yard Goats edged the Harrisburg Senators 3-2 in 10 innings Saturday night at FNB Field. Roberto Ramos knocked the go-ahead two-run home run in the top of the 10th.

Hartford scored their first run in the fourth. With Brian Mundell at third base and two outs, Ryan Metzler hit a groundball to second baseman Dan Gamache who's throw brought first baseman Austin Davidson off the bag which allowed both Metzler to reach and Mundell to score the first run of the game.

Senators starter Tyler Mapes allowed just the unearned run on five hits while striking out four and without walking a batter over five and two-thirds frames.
The Senators tied the game in the bottom of the sixth. Following a walk and single by Dan Gamache and Raudy Read, Jake Noll knocked a run-scoring double into left-center to make it 1-1.
James Bourque pitched a shutout seventh inning in his Double-A debut and Austen Williams tossed a scoreless eighth and ninth.
The score remained tied until the top of the 10th when Hartford jumped in front. With Mylz Jones, the free runner, aboard at second to start the frame, Roberto Ramos hit a two-run home run off Ronald Peña to put the Yard Goats ahead 3-1.
The Senators came back for a run in the bottom of the 10th when Read doubled off Hartford reliever Matt Pierpont to drive home the free runner, Alec Keller. Two batters later, with Zach Collier at the plate, Pierpont picked off Read from second for the final out of the game.
Scott Griggs (3-0) earned the win after throwing a scoreless inning. Pena (0-1) took the loss after surrendering the go-ahead two runs, one of which was earned, in his lone inning. Pierpont notched his 25th save.
The Senators and Yard Goats finish the series Sunday afternoon at FNB Field. Sterling Sharp starts for the Senators opposite Hartford starter Rico Garcia. First pitch is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at FNB Field.
