The BlueClaws won the first game 4-2 but dropped the second game 1-0.

Game One

The opener was delayed 1 hour and 45 minutes by rain and the BlueClaws then scored four times on one hit in the second inning. Runs scored on a bases loaded walk, error, passed ball, and wild pitch.

Wilmington got two back in the bottom of the inning off Jersey Shore starter Mavis Graves including an RBI single from TJ White.

That was all of the scoring. Graves came out after the fourth inning. Estibenzon Jimenez came in from there and threw two scoreless innings to earn the win on his minor league rehab assignment. Wen-Hui Pan threw a 1-2-3 seventh to earn the save.

Game Two

In the nightcap, Riley Maddox threw six scoreless innings for Wilmington and Sam Highfill five for Jersey Shore.

The only run of the game came in the sixth inning when Angel Feliz stole third and on the same pitch, scored as Camron Hill's offering got away from catcher Kodey Shojinaga.

Baron Stuart threw a scoreless inning for the save.

The teams play one game on Saturday, a 6:05 pm start. RHP Luke Gabrysh starts for Jersey Shore.
