BlueClaws To Reach 8-Millionth Fan At Next Home Game

JERSEY SHORE, NJ - The BlueClaws will welcome the 8-millionth fan in franchise history at their next home game on Friday, July 22nd. After 32,731 fans came out to ShoreTown Ballpark last week, including sellouts on July 4th and July 7th, the BlueClaws are just 650 fans away from 8-million!

So far this season, the BlueClaws have seven sold out crowds, including three crowds of over 8,000 fans. Now, they set their sights on 8-million.

"8-million fans is really about the support we've gotten for the last 20+ years from the Jersey Shore community," said BlueClaws team president Joe Ricciutti. "We're excited to celebrate with everyone next week!"

Fans will line up at the RWJBarnabas Health Third Base Gate as BlueClaws ticket takers and staff count down. The 650th fan through the gates will be number 8-million in team history.

The 8-millionth fan will receive a special prize package from the BlueClaws including eight nights in a Luxury Suite in 2023, eight tickets to every remaining BlueClaws game this year, plus eight boardwalk game tickets to each game this year. The 8-millionth fan will receive a replica BlueClaws jersey and throw out a ceremonial first pitch at that night's game.

Additionally, the BlueClaws will match the 2022 tickets by way of a donation. The team will donate eight tickets to each remaining game this year to eight charities of the winners' choice.

The July 22nd game is a Marvel Super Hero Night at ShoreTown Ballpark. Thor will be on hand for photos with fans as part of a special guest appearance. BlueClaws players will be wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit BlueClaws Charities (bidding is now live by clicking here).

The night also includes Marvel-themed food & drink specials and promotions. The BlueClaws hosted their first Marvel Super Hero Night with Spider-Man on May 26th in front of a sold out crowd of 8,026.

Rob Merten of Clark, New Jersey was the 7-millionth fan on July 27, 2017.

The BlueClaws are the Jersey Shore's top stop for affordable, family entertainment. ShoreTown Ballpark includes the best of the Jersey Shore all rolled into one night of fun!
