WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY - Hudson Valley scored 10 runs in the bottom of the 7th and topped the BlueClaws 15-1 on Thursday night at Dutchess Stadium.

Hudson Valley (26-28) picked up a win after the BlueClaws (21-32) swept a double-header on Wednesday.

The 10-run seventh inning was one off the most runs allowed by the BlueClaws in an inning. They gave up 11 in a loss to Greensboro last September.

Spencer Henson and Eric Wagaman both homered for the Renegades, who have split the first four games of this series with Jersey Shore. Wagaman's home run was an inside-the-park homer that drove in two and made it 8-0.

Cooper Bowman had a two-run single in the inning, which all told featured 15 batters and seven hits. Six of the runs were charged to Carlos Francisco and four to Jonathan Hughes.

Aldenis Sanchez also had three hits and drove in two runs for the Renegades. His two-run double in a four-run fourth inning helped push the lead to 5-0 before the 10-run seventh inning.

Cristian Hernandez (2-3) gave up five runs in four innings and took the loss. Beck Way (3-2) struck out five over 5.1 scoreless innings.

Catcher Herbert Iser, added to the roster earlier in the day, threw a 1-2-3 eighth inning for Jersey Shore.

Uziel Viloria homered in the eighth inning, his second home run of the year, for the lone BlueClaws run.

The teams continue their series on Friday night. RHP Mick Abel starts for the BlueClaws.
