Hub City scored once in the first on a single by Antonis Macias and once in the fourth on a single from Cal Stark.
The game remained 2-0 into the ninth when Daunte Stuart singled home the BlueClaws lone run of the game.
Dromboski came out after five. Tegan Cain threw two scoreless innings and Micah Ottenbreit one for Jersey Shore.
Spartanburgers starter Jormy Nivar gave up five hits over six scoreless innings to earn the win.
Nate Humphreys and Stuart each had two hits for the BlueClaws in the loss.
The teams continue their series on Friday night. LHP Cade Obermueller starts for Jersey Shore.
