Former Claws Set for Arizona Fall League

JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Nine former BlueClaws are headed to the desert to represent the Phillies in the 2026 Arizona Fall League. Play opens on October 3rd and runs through November 11th, with the postseason to begin thereafter.

JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Nine former BlueClaws are headed to the desert to represent the Phillies in the 2026 Arizona Fall League.

Play opens on October 3rd and runs through November 11th, with the postseason to begin thereafter.

The following players will play for Surprise (along with prospects from the Mets, Guardians, Rangers, and Royals):

  • RHP Keegan Batka (2026) went 3-3 with a 3.62 ERA in 24 appearances this year adding 47 strikeouts over 37.1 innings pitched.
  • RHP Ryan Dromboski (2025-26) is a product of Northern Burlington Regional High School in Columbus, New Jersey. He made five starts with the BlueClaws last year and 17 this year, pitching to a 4.89 ERA. He gave up four earned runs in 20.2 innings over his final five games.
  • RHP Estibenzon Jimenez (2024-25) pitched for parts of two seasons with the BlueClaws. This year, with Reading, he is 7-0 with a 2.84 ERA with seven saves.
  • RHP Jose Pena, Jr. (2025-26) had a 2.59 ERA with Jersey Shore over 19 games this year, striking out 34 batters in 24 innings.
  • LHP Kevin Warunek (2025-26) made seven appearances with the BlueClaws last year. After returning from the IL this year, he gave up one run in 10.2 innings with 14 strikeouts.
  • C Kehden Hettiger (2025) hit .232 with eight home runs with the BlueClaws last year, including a May 6th walk-off winner against Aberdeen.
  • IF Aroon Escobar (2025) played 46 games with Jersey Shore last year, hitting .256 with four home runs and 14 stolen bases.
  • OF Dante Nori (2025), the Phillies first-round pick in 2024, played 11 games with the BlueClaws last year, hitting .279 with 13 stolen bases. He also played for Team Italy in the 2026 World Baseball Classic.

Additionally, 2026 BlueClaws Athletic Trainer Marissa Van Hassel will serve as an Athletic Trainer for Surprise.

C Luke Davis (2025-26) will play for Scottsdale. He hit four home runs in 45 games with the BlueClaws this season.
