Adam Leverett Named Phillies Minor League Pitcher of the Month

JERSEY SHORE, NJ - BlueClaws pitcher Adam Leverett was named Phillies Minor League Pitcher of the Month for June.

A right-hander from Macon, Georgia, Leverett gave up one earned run in 16.2 innings pitched in June over four games and two starts. He struck out 18 hitters and held opponents to a .161 batting average.

He also made one start for double-A Reading, and between the two levels combined to post a 2.08 ERA (5 ER, 21.2 IP) with 22 strikeouts.

Leverett was selected by the Phillies in the 15th round of the June 2019 draft from Gordon State Junior College.

2021 BlueClaws SS Bryson Stott was Phillies Minor League Hitter of the Month for May, which he spent with Jersey Shore, before a promotion to Reading. Stott played in the MLB Futures Game on Sunday in Denver.
