ABERDEEN, MD - Coby Mayo hit his third home run of the series and the BlueClaws fell 10-1 at Aberdeen on Wednesday night.

The IronBirds (12-5) improve to 5-0 against the BlueClaws (6-11) this season and they've taken the first two games of the six game series at Leidos Field.

Mayo, who hit two home runs on Tuesday, homered again, this time in the fifth inning off Jersey Shore starter Victor Vargas (0-1). He had two hits and drove in four. Four of his five home runs this season have come against the BlueClaws.

Vargas came out after allowing three runs in five innings and Aberdeen opened things up against the BlueClaws bullpen. Donta' Williams tripled home a run in the sixth while Collin Burnes singled home Williams to put the IronBirds up 5-0 in the sixth.

Aberdeen added five more runs in the eighth inning off Dominic Pipkin. Ramon Rodriguez and Mayo had two RBI singles, with Billy Cook adding a SAC fly to put the IronBirds up 10-0.

Baron Radcliffe homered in the ninth inning, his first home run of the season, to account for the BlueClaws run.

Casey Martin had two hits and his fourth stolen base of the season. The BlueClaws, who are 48-51 stealing bases this year, have more stolen bases than any team in Minor League Baseball.

The teams continue their series on Thursday night at Leidos Field. The BlueClaws return home on Tuesday, welcoming in Hudson Valley.
