Six Former BlueClaws Added to Phillies 40-Man Roster

JERSEY SHORE, NJ - On Friday, the Phillies added six former BlueClaws to their 40-man roster: LHP Kyle Dohy, LHP Bailey Falter, LHP Damon Jones, IF Nick Maton, RHP Fransico Morales, and OF Simon Muzziotti.

JERSEY SHORE, NJ - On Friday, the Phillies added six former BlueClaws to their 40-man roster: LHP Kyle Dohy, LHP Bailey Falter, LHP Damon Jones, IF Nick Maton, RHP Fransico Morales, and OF Simon Muzziotti.

Below, find a quick rundown on each player (year with BlueClaws).

Kyle Dohy (2018) - Dohy gave up three earned runs in 33 innings with the BlueClaws, earning a spot in the South Atlantic League All-Star Game. He saved seven games and struck out 63 hitters before being promoted to Hi-A Clearwater. He finished the 2019 season with Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Bailey Falter (2017) - Falter made 27 starts for the BlueClaws in 2017, going 8-7 with a 2.99 ERA. He struck out 105 hitters and walked just 23. He spent 2018 with Clearwater and 2019 with Double-A Reading.

Damon Jones (2018) - Jones made 23 appearances and 22 starts with the BlueClaws in 2018, going 10-7 with a 3.41 ERA. he struck out 123 hitters in 113 innings.

Nick Maton (2018) - Maton spent 2018 with the BlueClaws, hitting .256 with eight home runs and five steals. After beginning 2019 with Clearwater, he was promoted to Reading to finish the season.

Francisco Morales (2019) - Morales is the lone 2019 BlueClaw on this list, He made 27 appearances and 15 starts, pitching to a 3.82 ERA. He struck out 129 hitters in 96.2 innings (12.1 Ks/9).

Simon Muzziotti (2018) - Muzziotti spent 2018 with the BlueClaws and hit .263 with 19 stolen bases. He spent 2019 with Clearwater.

Muzziotti made one of the best plays of the 2018 season with this circus catch in centerfield.
