JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Phillies shortstop prospect Bryson Stott, who opened the season with the BlueClaws, will represent the Phillies in the MLB Futures Game on July 11th at Coors Field in Denver.
JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Phillies shortstop prospect Bryson Stott, who opened the season with the BlueClaws, will represent the Phillies in the MLB Futures Game on July 11th at Coors Field in Denver.
Stott, the Phillies first-round pick in the 2019 draft out of UNLV, spent May with the BlueClaws. In 22 games, he hit .288 with five home runs and three stolen bases before a promotion to Double-A Reading on June 1st. He is hitting .278 with four home runs in his first 24 games in Reading (through play on June 29th).
He was the 12th former first-round pick to play for the BlueClaws. He is also the 29th former BlueClaw to appear in the MLB Futures Game, following 2019 BlueClaw Alec Bohm who played in the game later that summer.
First pitch of the Futures Game, which airs on MLB Network, is set for 3:00 pm.
