We’re Back: Red, White, and BlueClaws Fireworks Show on July 3rd
LAKEWOOD, NJ – The BlueClaws will open FirstEnergy Park on Friday, July 3rd for the Red, White, and BlueClaws Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by RWJBarnabas Health and Townsquare Media stations 92.7 WOBM, 94.3 The Point, 105.7 The Hawk, and Beach Radio 1160-1310 AM.
There are two ways to enjoy the show, an in-park extravaganza that includes dinner, dessert, live music, and BlueClaws merchandise, as well as a parking lot-only event where fans can watch the fireworks from their vehicles.
This event does NOT include a BlueClaws game.
The in-park portion of the event begins at 7:00 pm and will be limited to 450 spectators, socially-distanced, within the ballpark.
“We are incredibly excited to be able to welcome fans back to FirstEnergy Park for this amazing event,” said BlueClaws Team President Joe Ricciutti. “We want to thank RWJBarnabas Health and Townsquare Media for their support and can’t wait to welcome fans back inside.”
“RWJBarnabas Health is honored to be a part of this 're-opening' with the BlueClaws and the Jersey Shore. We're very much looking forward to what will be a great event on July 3rd and are excited to partner with the BlueClaws to bring entertainment and fun to our community,” said Justin Edelman, Senior Vice President, Corporate Partnerships, RWJBarnabas Health.
Fireworks will begin at 9:30 pm. The show will be more than double the length and include higher-elevation fireworks to create a more dynamic show than one that typically follows a BlueClaws game.
Tickets for the in-park portion are just $40 and have a $95 value. Each ticket comes with the following food package: freshly grilled hamburger, hot dog, corn on the cob, mac and cheese, choice of bottled water or canned soda, and novelty ice cream.
Each ticket will also include a BlueClaws adjustable cap (fans can select their cap upon arrival) and a BlueClaws logo baseball.
After the Reign will perform beginning at 7:30 pm and additional entertainment and games will be available for fans.
“We have put together a one-of-a-kind event where fans can enjoy live music, food, and other games within the ballpark while we cap the night with a sensational fireworks show to officially welcome everyone back,” said Ricciutti.
Tickets for the parking lot portion of the event are also extremely limited and available for just $15 per car. The parking lot will open at 8:00 pm for those with this ticket type. There will be no access to the stadium, though the BlueClaws will provide portable bathrooms. Popcorn, pretzels, soda, and limited merchandise will be available, though fans will be required to wear masks while walking to the stands and waiting on line.
Ticket Information
A strict limit of 450 tickets for the stadium access portion will be available for $40 each and include the food package described above.
BlueClaws Season Ticket Holders and Corporate Partners will have a special pre-sale opportunity (and will receive information via email), and tickets for both the in-park and parking lot portions will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, June 23rd at 10:00 am. Fans can only order tickets online via BlueClaws.com. No phone orders will be accepted.

Please note this event has a rain date of Sunday, July 5th (same time).
Viewing space inside the park will be General Admission, with seating availability in select sections. Available seats will be marked off to ensure social distancing is practiced. Additionally, picnic tables will be set up around the concourse in a socially distanced layout.
“With this show being both longer in length and bigger in terms of fireworks size, we will be shooting off the fireworks from the field-level in right field,” said Ricciutti. “This will enable us to put on an even better show than our best shows that follow BlueClaws games.”
Ricciutti added: “We hope this will mark a great start to what should be an exciting summer of events here at the ballpark. We look forward to announcing additional events soon that we believe will offer our fans safe and fun experiences this summer.”
Additional Safety Information
- Fans will be required to remain socially-distanced from those not in their traveling party while within the stadium.
- Masks will not be required while eating or while isolated from a group, but masks will be required in the Claws Cove, in the bathrooms, and while moving about the concourse.
- Bathrooms will be open but limited to ensure social distancing. Bathrooms will be continuously sanitized throughout the event.
- FirstEnergy Park has undergone a significant cleaning process over the last several weeks and all areas of the stadium will be sanitized completely before the re-opening. Upgrades and cleanings have been conducted and hand sanitizing stations will be made available throughout the facility.
- All staff members will be wearing masks and gloves while working the event.
- The Claws Cove will be open, but capacity will be limited to four guests at a time. Masks are required in the store.
