Bidding opens for Lugnuts Jersey Auction

Bid on game-worn Stroman, Alford and Pentecost unis, and more!

LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts announce that bidding is officially open for the 2016 Lugnuts Jersey Auction, auctioning off the Lugnuts' game-worn jerseys with all proceeds to support the Capital Area United Way.

Now in progress at 32auctions.com/lansinglugnuts2016, fans may bid on 20 jerseys worn by such notables as Blue Jays star Marcus Stroman and top Jays prospects Anthony AlfordMax Pentecost, Rowdy Tellez and Sean Reid-Foley.

Bids open at $90.00 for each jersey.

The top bids for each online auction at noon on Saturday, August 20th, will open the bidding at an in-stadium silent auction on Lugnuts Charities Night, featuring the entire team's jerseys, presented by Dan Henry Distributing, at 7:05 p.m. against the South Bend Cubs.

Fans who are unable to attend Lugnuts Charities Night are encouraged to place the highest possible bid on their favorite jersey to give them their best chance to win.

At the conclusion of the live silent auction, the winning bidders will be announced and a post-game on-field ceremony will see the winners personally presented their jerseys by the members of the Lugnuts.

Following the game and the jersey ceremony, fans will be treated to a spectacular LAFCU Fireworks show.
