Ryan Gold tried squeeze in Lopez, but the play was thwarted, with Lopez tagged out at the plate following a rundown while Brodt took third and Gold advanced to second. Following an intentional walk of Mc Gregory Contreras , Nick Podkul lined an RBI single to right and Dom Abbadessa lasered a two-run single to center field.
