Lugnuts to host Job Fair on Saturday, Feb. 28

LANSING, Mich. - Prepare your resume! The Lansing Lugnuts will host their annual job fair from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, February 28th. It will be held on the second floor of the Lansing Center, located at 333 E. Michigan Ave. in downtown Lansing.

"Our staff represents the strength of our organization, ensuring every fan has a terrific experience at Cooley Law School Stadium," said Lugnuts general manager Nick Grueser. "We're looking for hard-working people committed to positively outrageous customer service."

The job fair will allow the Lugnuts to hire seasonal and game day staff in guest services, retail, box office, control room operations, stadium operations, grounds crew (daytime and gametime) and food services - particularly cooks, servers, bartenders, cashiers, inventory managers and concessions.

Individuals attending the job fair will be asked to fill out an application before receiving an on-the-spot interview. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.

"If you'd like to work for the Lugnuts this season, attending the job fair is a must," said Grueser. "We look forward to a great turnout from the Lansing area, helping make our 20th season in Mid Michigan our best yet."
