Jesse Goldberg-Strassler

Jesse has directed the Lugnuts media department since 2009, earning nods as Midwest League Broadcaster of the Year in 2013 and Ballpark Digest's Minor League Broadcaster of the Year in 2019. He made his MLB debut last season, calling a three-game series for the A's at Fenway Park, and has written two books: The Baseball Thesaurus and The Football Thesaurus. (Click here to check them out.) A native Marylander, Jesse enjoys reading, Italian ices, and Fast and Furious movies 1-7. He resides in Delta Township, where he plays living room baseball with his wife, Christie, and three-year-old son, Alain.

Adam Jaksa

In addition to calling Lugnuts baseball, Adam is the Voice of the Chippewas and Director of Broadcasting at Central Michigan University, delivering the play-by-play of Chippewas football, men's basketball, and baseball. He first joined the Lugnuts on production crew in 2012 while a student at CMU, officially joining the broadcast team in 2019. Adam is a native of Eaton Rapids, Mich., a tea connoisseur, and the Lugnuts' resident expert on all things Harry Potter. He has the best shoe collection in the Midwest League.
