Snow postpones Lugnuts/Loons, doubleheader Sunday in Lansing

MIDLAND, Mich. - Snow forced the postponement of the Lansing Lugnuts (1-0) and Great Lakes Loons' (0-1) contest scheduled for Friday evening at Dow Diamond.Since the two teams will not return to Midland in the first half, the game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday,

MIDLAND, Mich. - Snow forced the postponement of the Lansing Lugnuts (1-0) and Great Lakes Loons' (0-1) contest scheduled for Friday evening at Dow Diamond.

Since the two teams will not return to Midland in the first half, the game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, April 8th, at Lansing's Cooley Law School Stadium beginning at 1:05 p.m. Two seven-inning games will be played, separated by an approximate 30-minute break.

In addition, the Lugnuts have changed the scheduled start time for Saturday's home opener against the Great Lakes Loons to 5:35 p.m. The day will still begin with an Opening Day Block Party at 3 p.m. featuring Meet the Team followed by an autograph session with the 2018 Lansing Lugnuts. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a commemorative scarf presented by Auto-Owners Insurance. LAFCU Fireworks will follow the game.
