Fun Season Planned for Kids at FirstEnergy Stadium This Season
(Reading, PA) - The Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, are excited to unveil a loaded slate of giveaways and promotions for kids to enjoy at FirstEnergy Stadium during the 2024 season. (Reading, PA) - The Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, are excited to unveil a loaded slate of giveaways and promotions for kids to enjoy at FirstEnergy Stadium during the 2024 season.
The first kids' giveaway this season will be a 2024 R-Phils Team Photo and Home Schedule, which will be given to the first 1,500 kids in attendance on Saturday, April 13 against the Portland Sea Dogs. On Sunday, June 30, the first 2,000 kids will receive an R-Phils Uncut Player Baseball Card Poster, which they can get signed that day by players on the Fightin Phils. Additionally, children have the uncut card set signed by members of the Fightin Phils prior to the game that day against the Bowie Baysox. On Sunday, July 14, the first 1,500 kids will receive an Aaron Nola bobblehead. Then on Sunday, August 18, the first 1,500 kids will get a Ranger Suarez bobblehead. Finally, on Sunday, June 9, the first 1,500 kids will receive a Johan Rojas bobblehead.
In addition to giveaways, young Fightin Phils' fans can enjoy a variety of theme nights. Theme nights for 2024 include: Charlie Brown and Peanuts (June 8), Batman (June 15), Star Wars (July 6), Bugs Bunny (July 13), Harry Potter (August 3) and SpongeBob (September 7). Those nights will feature special jerseys, characters and much more.
Additionally, everyone's favorite mascot, the Phillie Phanatic will make his return to Baseballtown in 2024. The Phanatic will appear in Reading on Sunday, April 28, Tuesday, June 25 and Sunday, August 4. Additionally, most Sunday home games will feature surprise characters and meet and greets. Berks Packing Sunday Family Fun Day's will again feature four tickets, with four hot dogs and four sodas for only $62, making for a great day at the ballpark for the entire family. Additionally, fans can run the bases following most Sunday games this season.
On Sunday, April 14, there will be an R-Phils Character Meet and Greet, along with an autograph and photo session prior to the game. Ed's Dinosaurs Live will put on an excellent show on Sunday, May 26 as well.
The Fightin Phils will also have two school field trip games on May 7 and 21. Additionally, the 2024 Camp Game will be on July 30. Lastly, the Fightin Phils will put on 33 fireworks shows this season, including nine Carpenter MEGABLASTS, the largest fireworks show in stadium history.
The Reading Fightin Phils return to FirstEnergy Stadium to open the 2024 season on April 9, 2024, against the Portland Sea Dogs and individual tickets will go on-sale online on Friday, February 23. Additionally, fans can purchase a General Admission 10 Pack, which includes 10 General Admission tickets to be used at any game, as well as two FREE Opening Night Tickets; all for just $70. Fans can also purchase a Mini Plan or Flex Bank for the 2024 season. Mini Plans start with as few as four games, and flex banks as little as 12 tickets.
