Join the Fightin Phils for Celebrate your Faith Nights in 2025

(Reading, PA) - The Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, are excited to again host three Celebrate Your Faith Nights throughout the 2025 season. These discussions will be led by members of the Fightin Phils roster.

This season's Celebrate Your Faith Nights are scheduled for Thursday June 12, Friday July 25 and Thursday August 14. The discussions with Fightin Phils players will occur at 5:45 p.m. on the night of these games. First pitch for each is scheduled at 7 p.m. All three nights will also conclude with postgame fireworks.

On Celebrate Your Faith nights at FirstEnergy Stadium, players and fans come together to reflect on the impact that their respective faiths have had on their journeys. This is a great opportunity to see how faith moves throughout life. Sports offer a lot of joy and a lot of stress and fans can see how players utilize their belief system to handle daily challenges in the face of adversity and show true thanks in triumph.

A pre-game faith discussion will take place, where fans will have the opportunity to listen to players speak about its impact in their lives and careers. Fans are encouraged to participate in the question-and-answer session that will last for about 20 minutes. Typically two to four R-Phils athletes take part in the discussion.

The discussions are non-denominational and do not promote any specific beliefs. All faiths are welcome, and the room is often a mixed congregation. R-Phils players began speaking about their faith with fans during the 2003 season when approximately a dozen fans/groups took part in the program. The 2025 season will be the 21st year of the program's existence.

Groups of 20 or more are encouraged to book an outing to celebrate the evening with their church, youth group, or friends in faith. As a special bonus, each church may select one representative to throw out a free ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.

The Fightin Phils return to FirstEnergy Stadium to open the 2025 season against the Portland Sea Dogs on Friday, April 4, at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at rphils.com/tickets, by calling 610-370-BALL or in-person at the Customers Bank Ticket Office.
