The first 1,500 fans 21 & over at Tuesday’s game will receive a Yuengling R-Phils T-shirt. Wednesday features a tribute to Disney’s “Princesses.” Come to the game dressed as your favorite Disney Princess. Kick off 4th of July weekend on Thursday with a Stars & Stripes Patriotic Celebration. Postgame celebrations include Carpenter MEGA BLAST FIREWORKS — the largest fireworks show in stadium history — sponsored by the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The Fightin Phils enter off a six-game road trip against the Richmond Squirrels, the Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Reading went 4-2 in Richmond, entering the homestand on a two-game winning streak. Outfielder Dylan Campbell tallied five hits in his first five games with the Fightin Phils. Starter Jean Cabrera recorded two wins and allowed only three runs in 11.0 innings of work. Reading finished June 11-14
The Patriots are coming into Baseballtown after a 2-4 series loss to the Erie SeaWolves, the Pittsburgh Pirates' Double-A affiliate. Somerset batted just .177 on the week after losing top power hitter Spencer Jones following a promotion to Triple-A.
