Reno, Nev. – The Reno Aces (6-8) will conclude their second road trip of 2024 in Salt Lake to take on the Bees (6-9), the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, beginning on Tuesday, April 16, for a six-game series.

Reno ran away with the series against Salt Lake in 2023, winning 14 out of 18 matchups, including nine wins at home. Both clubs will again clash 18 times this season, with six games at Greater Nevada Field. The Bees split their recent series while visiting Las Vegas last week and will now welcome the Aces for their second homestand of 2024.

Among the Bees' notable players is outfielder Jordyn Adams, a top prospect in the Los Angeles Angels system.

Adams, the #23 overall prospect in the Angels organization according to the MLB Pipeline, starts the 2024 season in Salt Lake after spending all of 2023 with the Bees. The 24-year-old has a .237/.297/.339 stat line with one home run, five RBI, and seven stolen bases this season.

In 2023, the speedster succeeded on the basepaths, snagging 44 bags while hitting .267/.351/.465 with 15 home runs. The former #17 overall pick in the 2018 MLB draft has his eyes set on making his MLB debut this year and is bound to showcase his potential at any given moment.

Reno enters the series against Salt Lake after dropping the series while visiting the Tacoma Rainiers, Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The Aces dropped the first four games, being outscored 25-10 in those matchups. However, they managed to take the fifth game but lost the series finale. The BLC-Nine will seek redemption in Salt Lake and battle to climb back up the standings in the PCL.

Adrian Del Castillo had one of the more efficient series against Tacoma, going 5-for-16 (.313) with a home run and two doubles while driving in five runs. The 24-year-old ranks 5th in home runs (4) in the Pacific Coast League and will ride his hot start to 2024 into Salt Lake.

The six-game series begins Tuesday at 5:35 p.m. PT at Smith's Ballpark.

Following a two-week road trip to Tacoma and Salt Lake, the Aces will return to Greater Nevada Field on Tuesday, April 23, to play the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, in a six-game series.
