Widener tossed a scoreless frame in a scheduled one-inning appearance. Braden Shipley followed and was sharp from start to finish. The Nevada righty went four innings, did not allow a hit and stuck out three. The Reno pitching staff took a no-hitter into the sixth. Bryan Menendez allowed an RBI single to Bees slugger Caleb Cowart with two outs that tied the game at one. Chris Cron's offense responded with four runs in the seventh, one run in the eighth and one run in the ninth to extend their lead to six.
