Shorebirds play at Perdue Stadium from April 18-21

Salisbury, Md. - The Delmarva Shorebirds return to Salisbury for a four-game series against the Greensboro Grasshoppers (Marlins) from April 18-21 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.  The series is filled with great promotions, a fireworks show and a unique giveaway.  For tickets and more information, call 410-219-3112.

The series begins on Thursday, April 18 with game one against Greensboro at 7:05pm.  Every Thursday home game is a Kiss 95.9 Thirsty Thursday, which means that 12 oz. Miller Lite and Coors Light draft beers are just $1.50.  Also, 12 oz. Pepsi drinks are also just $1.50.

On Friday, April 19, the first 1,000 fans will receive the brand new Shorebirds puzzle giveaway featuring your favorite Shorebirds players from the last four years including Dylan Bundy, Manny Machado, Parker Bridwell, Glynn Davis, Michael Ohlman and John Ruettiger.  The puzzle is presented by Pepsi.  Every Friday home game is also a Froggy 99.9 "Big Beer Friday" where fans can enjoy 32 oz. Miller Lite and Coors Light draft beer for only $6. 

The series continues on Saturday, April 20 at 7:05pm.  Stick around after the final out for a fireworks extravaganza presented by Wawa.  Every Saturday home game is a Q105 Fireworks Saturday.

On Friday and Saturday, the Shorebirds will welcome select schools from the Hit the Books program presented by Dr. James M. Crouse at The Brace Place.  The Hit the Books program is the Shorebirds reading initiative that reaches over 40,000 students on the Eastern Shore from over 100 schools.

The Shorebirds and Grasshoppers wrap up the short homestand on Sunday, April 21 at 2:05pm.  The first 500 fans will receive a Shorebirds logo baseball.  Following the game, Shorebirds players and coaches will be available for an autograph session.  Get your brand new baseball signed by your favorite players and coaches!  Also, all Junior Shorebirds Kids Club members get to run the bases after each Sunday game. If you're not a member of the free Junior Shorebirds Kids Club, you can sign up during the game on Sunday.
