Bisons shutout IronPigs, 3-0

Herd best Halladay for sescond straight win.

The Buffalo Bisons (3-6-1) defeated the Lehigh Valley IronPigs for the second straight day with a 3-0 victory on Saturday afternoon from Clearwater, FL.

Buffalo defeated the IronPigs, 6-5, on Friday.

LHP Sean Nolin (1-0) earned the win for the Herd. The southpaw allowed just two hits and a walk while striking out three batters over 5.0 innings of work. Nolin has now allowed just one run on three hits in two spring starts (8.0 IP) with the Bisons.

The Bisons scored all three of their runs in the first inning off Phillies ace Roy Halladay, who pitched four innings for Lehigh Valley.

OF MOISES SIERRA collected his second consecutive multi-hit game for the Bisons. After going 2-4 in Friday's Herd win, the outfielder went 2-3 with an RBI-double on Saturday.

INF MIKE McCOY went 3-4 with two doubles and a pair of runs scored. C SEAN OCHINKO also went 2-4 with a double and an RBI as part of a 10-hit Bisons attack.
