Graveman to start for Bisons Saturday

Righty promoted to Herd in just second season

The Buffalo Bisons today announced that RHP KENDALL GRAVEMAN has been promoted to the club from New Hampshire (AA). Graveman will start for the Bisons on Saturday as the team opens up a four-game series in Norfolk.

GRAVEMAN, 23, is in just his second year as a pro after being drafted by the Blue Jays in the 8th round of the 2013 June Draft. In 21 combined starts at three levels of Toronto's system this year, the righty has gone 11-4 with a 1.81 ERA. He has allowed just 108 hits in 129.0 innings of work with 93 strikeouts. Graveman has spent the bulk of the season with Dunedin (A) where he was 8-4 with a 2.23 ERA in 16 starts. He made his Double-A debut on Monday and allowed just one run in six innings for New Hampshire.
