BIG MOMENTS

  • Justin Connell ripped an RBI single to center field, scoring Jack Dunn from second base for the walk-off victory against Brooklyn reliever Andrew Edwards in the ninth to win 9-8.
  • Anthony Walters scored from first base in the eighth inning on Antoine Duplantis’ single to right-center field to tie the game 8-8. Walters slid under catcher Andrew Pratt’s tag on a bang-bang play at the plate.
  • Trailing 7-3, Luke Ritter tied the game with a grand slam in the fifth inning against Wilmington reliever Kyle Hinton, scoring Brett Baty, Ronny Mauricio, and Francisco Alvarez.
