  • Leading 2-0, Brooklyn crossed four runs in the third inning, scoring on RBI singles from Joe Genord and Ronny Mauricio, an RBI double by Edgardo Fermin, and a sac fly from Cole Kleszcz to push the advantage to 6-0.
  • Joe Suozzi broke the scoreless tie in the bottom of the second inning, catapulting his first Brooklyn home run to left field to give the Cyclones a 2-0 lead.
