Jays option Steve Delabar to Bisons

The Toronto Blue Jays today announced that they have optioned RHP STEVE DELABAR to the Buffalo Bisons and recalled INF MUNENORI KAWASAKI from the Herd.
DELABAR was a 2013 American League All-Star for the Blue Jays and struck out San Francisco's Buster Posey in the 2013 All-Star Game (only batter faced). He won five games for Toronto last season and recorded 82 strikeouts in only 58.2 innings of work to go along with a 3.22 ERA.
This year, Delabar is 3-0 with a 4.68 ERA in 29 relief appearances for Toronto. He has allowed just 18 hits with 21 strikeouts in 25.0 innings of work.
This is Kawasaki's second promotion to the Blue Jays. In 44 total games with the Bisons this year, he has hit .276 (32-116) with 11 doubles, a trip and nine RBI.
