COLUMBIA, SC – The Columbia Fireflies today announced that another country concert is coming to Segra Park this fall. Carolina Country Showdown, starring headliner Corey Smith, will take place at Segra Park on Friday, November 19. Tickets are on sale now for the event.

Corey Smith is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Jefferson Georgia who has been touring for nearly 20 years. Some of his top hits include If I Could Do It Again from his 2005 album The Good Life and Twenty-One from his Undertones album. Smith just announced that he is touring in Riley Green’s We Out Here tour starting in November, so it may be fans last chance to catch Smith in a smaller setting.

· Club Seating: $50
· General Admission Seating: $30
· On-Field V.I.P. (Standing Room): $35

Limited amounts of on-field tickets are available.

Gates for the event open at 5:30pm and the opening acts will begin at 5:45pm. Blackfoot will be the show’s opening act. Blackfoot is an American Southern Rock Band from Jacksonville, Florida most known for a sound that is close to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Warp Drive and White Face. Their biggest hits come from their 1979 Strikes album. Rick Medlocke provides the vocals on classic hits like Highway Song and Train Train.

Following Blackfoot, Greg Payne and the Piedmont Boys will perform. From Greenville, the band has been touring since 2007 and recently performed at the Fall Rally in Murrell’s Inlet. Their 2016 album Natural Born Rebel was their fifth album and produced hits Come on Out Tonight and Long Way to the Bottom.
