'Swing for your Seats' Postponed to Sunday

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Due to inclement weather, 'Swing for your Seats' - originally scheduled for Saturday, April 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. - has been postponed to Sunday, April 3rd, as part of Fireflies Fan Fest.

Fireflies Fan Fest, a free event for the community, will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday and will offer fans an up-close look at Spirit Communications Park, the first 2016 Fireflies team workout and free hot dogs, chips and soft drinks for the first 2,000 fans in attendance. Ballpark tours will take place throughout the afternoon. Fireflies players and coaches will be signing autographs on the ballpark concourse from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The team's workout is scheduled to finish at approximately 3:45 p.m. Any fan who places a 25% deposit on season tickets or another ticket package - or adds seats to their current plan - will be invited down to the field at 4 p.m. and have the opportunity to bat from home plate. If the participant hits a home run, he or she will receive their ticket package that year for free, up to $10,000.

Ticket packages include full season (70 games), half season (35 games), quarter season (17 games) and mini season (12 games) options. The non-refundable deposit will be 25% of the ticket package fans intend to purchase.

Opening Night 2016

Opening Night at Spirit Communications Park is April 14 at 7:05 p.m against the Greenville Drive (Boston Red Sox). Individual game tickets for the 2016 season are on sale now and begin at $5 for the Bojangles' Berm, $9 for reserved seats, and $10 for The Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union All-Star seats - all subject to availability. The Fireflies are currently taking reservations for season ticket packages, including full season (70 games), half season (35 games), quarter season (17 games) and mini season packages (12 games).
