South Bend Silver Hawks
The Midwest League's South Bend Silver Hawks- previously the South Bend White Sox and, later the South Bend Cubs-were named in honor of the Silver Hawk automobile, which rolled off of Studebaker's South Bend assembly lines in the late 1950s. The ballclub, then an Arizona Diamondbacks affiliate, won a league title in 2005.
