The Frisco RoughRiders are pleased to invite you, teachers and students to participate in our Education Day celebrations at Riders Field. Due to the popularity of these events, please get your orders in early so you can secure the best seat. Orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Education Day at Riders Field provides elementary, middle and high school students the unique opportunity to learn outside of a classroom setting. A digital workbook will be sent to you before your game date. We encourage you to share with your students, fill them out before the game or incorporate them into your lessons leading up to the field trip!
We will have numerous educational and interactive learning stations set up along the ballpark's concourse to enhance the Education Day experience, as well as provide opportunities to participate in on-field promotional activities.

Frequently Asked Questions
What time do gates open?
Gates will open at 10AM for all Education Days.
Are we allowed to bring food or drinks into the ballpark?
Outside food, drinks, and coolers are NOT permitted. Water bottles are welcome.
Do teachers and chaperones need tickets?
All attendees need a ticket to enter the gates. Children 2 and under get in free and do not need a ticket.
Are there vegetarian and gluten-free options for those who purchase the meal ticket?
Yes! Your sales representative will reach out before the game to get a head count of meal substitutions needed. Please note that meal substitutions must be submitted before the given deadline and cannot be changed on the day of the game.
Do teachers receive digital workbooks and lesson plans?
Yes! Your sales representative will send the digital workbooks and lesson plans out 2 weeks before the game.
How much is parking?
Bus parking is complimentary on all Education Days in LOT B. Non-bus parking passes can be purchased day of game in our two Garage Lots (E/F) for $15/pass.
How long does the game last?
Our games are 2.5-3 hours long on average. We often see schools select a time to leave regardless of inning, in order to get back on time for a bus schedule/dismissal.
What is educational about this trip?
We partner with education-based businesses in our community (Mathnasium, the YMCA, the Heard Museum & more) to join us for these days and set up hands-on stations that tie their subject to the game of baseball! Students can visit the stations before or during the game. We also arrange pregame speakers that share a more "behind the scenes" experience!
We also encourage teachers to utilize the Baseball Hall of Fame Lesson plans leading up to your trip & to tie in with TEKS!
