The Harrisburg Senators fell behind 8-0 before rallying in the eighth and ninth innings and eventually falling to Richmond 10-5. The Senators had the bases loaded when the game ended on a ground out. Richmond scored five in the third and three more in the fifth to seemingly put the game away.

Richard Guasch going 4.1 innings and allowing eight runs. However, he struck out nine and walked just two. He was by a grand slam and solo home run in the second. Francys Peguero followed and went 2.1 innings allowing just a hit. Brian Gonzalez pitched a scoreless eighth and Erik Manoa Jr. allowed a couple of runs in the ninth.

Harrisburg was hitless until the seventh inning when Jacob Rhinesmith doubled with two outs. In the eighth, Mitch Longo and Jake Alu both doubled which were followed by a two-run home run by Wilson Garcia.

The Senators defense didn’t commit an error for the third time in four games. It was the second straight game the Senators had three doubles.

The Senators and Richmond Flying Squirrels play game three of their six-game series Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at FNB Field. The game can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Harrisburg 96.5FM 95.3FM and 1400AM beginning at 6:20 p.m.
