Summary

The Harrisburg Senators were shutout by the Erie SeaWolves 6-0 Friday night at FNB Field. Erie plated two runs in the fifth inning then four more in the eighth to break the game open. Harrisburg couldn’t break through against four Erie hurlers. The SeaWolves have taken three of the first four games of the series.

The Big Play

With one out and the bases loaded for Erie, Luis Santana hit a double play ground ball to short stop Leonel Valera. He tossed to second base for one, but the return throw was wide to first. Instead of an inning ending double play, Erie plated two runs.

On Capitol Hill
