The Senators dropped a heartbreaker to the Sea Dogs Friday night 7-6 in ten innings. Harrisburg had a 5-1 lead into the bottom of the ninth inning, poised to win their second straight over Portland before the Sea Dogs rallied for four in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game and two in the tenth to win.

ON CAPITAL HILL

Seth Romero started and pitched a perfect first inning striking out two batters before the game went into a delay.

Bryan Dobzanski went three innings for the Senators allowing four hits and one run while striking out three.

Reid Schaller appeared in his second game with the Sens and went two innings striking out three and walking two.

Jhon Romero pitched two scoreless innings allowing a hit and striking out two.

Frankie Bartow took the loss taking over in the ninth and pitching both the ninth and tenth innings. He allowed three earned runs (six total) on seven hits and two walks. He also struck out two.

WITH THE GAVEL

Jake Alu had a home run and single, drove in two and scored twice.

Nick Banks had two hits including an RBI double in the ninth inning.

Rhett Wiseman went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in the tenth inning.

FILIBUSTERS

It was the fifth time this year the Senators lost on the road in walk-off fashion. Harrisburg ended the game with a .220 batting average, their season high. Both Osvaldo Duarte and Jackson Cluff made tremendous catches on pop ups in the outfield. The time of the game was 4:28 and had a 1:38 minute delay.
