Buster's Bio

It was during his days as an infant when Buster fell in love with the game of baseball. His love for the game in its purest form - Minor League Baseball- led him to the Shore when the BlueClaws were founded.

Buster has represented the BlueClaws at every home game in franchise history. His consecutive-home game streak has exceeded 1,400 and his enthusiasm for the game has never waned. His goal at all BlueClaws home games is to lead the crowds in their unbridled passion for BlueClaws baseball; a goal that he meets on a nightly basis at the ballpark.

As a child, Buster spent many, lazy summer nights with family and friends at Barnegat Bay, and he grew up with many fond, crab-filled memories of his time spent at the Jersey Shore.

Between his love for baseball and his love for crabs, Buster was needlessly excited when he heard a minor league baseball team was coming to Lakewood. When General Manager Geoff Brown approached in 2001 Buster with an opportunity to represent the BlueClaws at all home games, Brown couldn't even finish making his offer before Buster accepted.

Since that day, the BlueClaws and Buster have grown harmoniously in providing entertainment for every fan who walks through the turnstiles at ShoreTown Ballpark.
