Tonight at 7:05 p.m. Eastern is the Spring Breakout game between the Oakland Athletics' prospects and San Francisco Giants' prospects in Mesa. On the A's roster, there are 16 players who've suited up in Lansing, and more whom we expect to see at Jackson Field as soon as this spring.

Here's the full breakdown:

PITCHERS
- Steven Echavarria: The A's No. 7 prospect (all rankings by MLB Pipeline)... the 2023 Gatorade New Jersey Baseball Player of the Year... the 72nd overall pick (3rd round) in the 2023 draft, signing away from a Florida commitment... yet to make his professional debut.
- Cole Miller: The A’s No. 16 prospect... drafted out of Newbury Park High School, located in Thousand Oaks… the 103rd overall pick (4th round) in the 2023 draft, signing away from a UCLA commitment… older brother Jake pitches in Cleveland’s organization… yet to make his professional debut.
- Royber Salinas: The A’s No. 17 prospect… acquired from the Braves on December 12, 2022, with Kyle Muller, Manny Piña and Freddy Tarnok (along with Esteury Ruíz from Milwaukee) in a three-team, nine-player trade centered around Sean Murphy heading to Atlanta… spent 2023 with Double-A Midland… in 2022, whiffed 175 batters in 109 innings between Class A and High-A.
- Gunnar Hoglund: The A’s No. 20 prospect… 19th overall pick (Ole Miss) in the 2021 draft by the Blue Jays, falling out of projected top five due to UCL tear… had not yet pitched in pro ball when he was acquired from Toronto on March 16, 2022, in a four-player package for Matt Chapman… dazzled in Lansing debut, tossing five hitless innings with seven strikeouts at Dayton, August 26, 2023, to immediately earn Midwest League Pitcher of the Week honors.
- Brady Basso: The A’s No. 23 prospect and No. 1 left-handed pitching prospect… drafted by the A’s from Oklahoma State in 2019… hiatus of 687 days between MiLB appearances (June 15, 2021 to May 3, 2023) in returning from Tommy John… father Mike managed in Padres and Blue Jays organizations during the 1990s and 2000s before turning to scouting in the 2010s… pitched in Lansing in 2021 and 2023… as a high school wide receiver, averaged 29.9 yards per catch and was named All-District.
- Ryan Cusick: The A’s No. 24 prospect… drafted 24th overall (Wake Forest) by Atlanta in 2021 and traded to Oakland with Shea Langelier’s, Joey Estes and Cristian Pache for Matt Olson on March 14, 2022… made 22 starts with Double-A Midland in 2023, one start for Triple-A Las Vegas.
- Tyler Baum: The A’s No. 27 prospect after turning his career around dramatically… the A’s 2nd-round selection in 2019, 66th overall (UNC)… after allowing 55 runs in 24 innings in 2022 with Stockton (due to 46 walks, nine HBP, and 23 wild pitches), dominated for the Lugnuts in 2023 with 1.72 ERA, 11 saves, and 37 strikeouts in 31 1/3 innings, allowing only 15 hits, to earn call-up to Double-A Midland.
- Blake Beers: Beers and sliders! … drafted 578th overall in 2021 as the A’s 19th-rounder from the University of Michigan… in his 2022 High-A debut, struck out 11 batters in six scoreless innings at Beloit… posted 2.91 ERA with the Lugnuts in 34 innings in 2023 before finishing in Double-A (7.81 ERA in 80 2/3 innings with the RockHounds, 109 K in 114 2/3 innings overall).
- Stevie Emanuels: There were 160 picks in the 2020 pandemic-shortened draft, and Stevie was taken 157th from the University of Washington … other fifth-rounders included Joe Boyle (CIN), Bryce Elder (ATL), Gavin Stone (LAD), Colt Keith (DET), and Brandon Pfaadt (ARI), so he was in good company… played for the A’s in Little League, too, and still has his old A’s cap… converted from starter to full-time reliever in 2023 and saw immediate results: 1.44 ERA in 25 innings with the Lugnuts, moving up to Midland for a 2.38 ERA in 11 1/3 innings… earned nod to the Arizona Fall League at season’s end and struck out 19 batters in 9 2/3 innings.
- Grant Holman: The A’s first pitcher drafted in 2021 was Mason Miller (3rd round), followed by Holman in the 6th round (Cal)… two-way star, starting at first base when not pitching for the Golden Bears… until he was struck in the face vs. San Jose State on March 10, 2020, ending his hitting career… Little League World Series legend at 6-foot-4, 166 lbs at age 13, opening up the 2013 LLWS with an extra-inning no-hitter, slugging a game-winning grand slam in the second game, and delivering an extra-inning walk-off home run in the third game… led Eastlake Little League of Chula Vista to the championship game, where they fell to Musashi-Fuchū of Tokyo, 6-4… pitched for the Lugnuts in 2022 and 2023, moving up to Double-A Midland (5.85, 32 1/3 IP, 45 K) after tossing 9 1/3 scoreless innings for the Lugnuts last season.
- Pedro Santos: Avid fisherman from Trinidad, Cuba, signing as an international free agent in 2018… missed 2022 due to Tommy John, returning with dominance due to fastball/power curve combo in 2023… in total, struck out 72 batters while allowing only 36 hits in 50 2/3 innings as the back-end fireman between Stockton and Lansing.

CATCHERS
- Daniel Susac, C: The A’s No. 6 prospect and top catching prospect in the organization… the 19th overall pick (Arizona) in the 2022 draft… 2023 Midwest League batting champion, hitting .303 before late August promotion to Double-A… finished year 9-for-9 in stolen bases… older brother Andrew played six years in the Majors and has a 2014 World Series ring from his rookie year.
- César González, C: The A’s No. 29 prospect and No. 2 catching prospect… signed at age 17 in 2022… has spent each of his first two professional seasons in the Dominican Summer League… has 41 walks compared to 37 strikeouts in 66 career games.
- Cole Conn, C: The A’s 12th-round pick last year from UIC, played in 10 games in the Arizona Complex League in his pro debut.. distinguished himself offensively with the Flames with 24 home runs and 28 stolen bases in three seasons… twin brother Clay still plays at UIC.

INFIELDERS
- Jacob Wilson, SS: 6th overall pick in 2023 from Grand Canyon... the No. 1 prospect in the org. and No. 68 prospect in the Minors... teammates with Max Muncy at Thousand Oaks High School, playing for dad Jack (who also attended Thousand Oaks en route to a 12-year MLB career and a 2004 N.L. All-Star nod)... 2003 WAC Defensive Player of the Year... national Golden Spikes Award finalist... struck out 31 times in 694 college plate appearances... played 23 games in Lansing to end the 2023 season, batting .318.
- Max "2.0" Muncy, SS: The A's No. 8 prospect... shares his August 25 birthday with the Major League Max Muncy, no relation... taken 25th overall in 2021 from Thousand Oaks High School, where he had played for Jack Wilson and with Jacob Wilson... played 42 games with the Lugnuts in 2022 and 72 games in 2023, forming slugging combos each year with fellow first-rounders Tyler Soderstrom and Daniel Susac… has a newsboy cap gifted to him by Johnny Doskow… loves collecting baseball cards.
- Myles Naylor: The A’s No. 9 prospect and top third base prospect… older brothers Josh and Bo play for Cleveland while cousin Denzel Clarke preceded him in the A’s organization… drafted 39th overall in 2023 (Competitive Balance Round A), the top Canadian selected, and signed away from his commitment to Texas Tech (where Josh had also committed)… in his pro debut, played two games in the Arizona Complex League and 32 games in Stockton (hitting .208 with six home runs.
- Brett Harris: The A’s No. 11 prospect and No. 2 third base prospect… drafted in the 7th round in 2021 from Gonzaga, where had been named the WCC Defensive Player of the Year… started his college path by redshirting at Houston in 2017 and then transferring to Central Arizona in 2018 (posting a 4.0 GPA) before moving on to Gonzaga for 2019-21… worked as a student-teacher in a middle school special needs classroom while in Spokane, where he majored in special education… played in Lansing in 2021 and 2022, opening 2023 in Midland before receiving his first taste in Triple-A with 36 games for Las Vegas… hit by 17 pitches in 2023, harkening back to his 25 HBPs with Gonzaga in 2021.
- Cooper Bowman: The A’s No. 22 prospect and No. 1 second base prospect… acquired from the Yankees with Luis Media, JP Sears and Ken Waldichuk for Frankie Montas and Lou Trevino on August 1, 2022… native of Rapid City, SD, was all-state in basketball… began college path at Iowa Western CC before reaching Lousiville for one year, 2021, after which the Yankees drafted him in the 4th round… Cardinals teammates with Henry Davis and fellow A’s MiLBers Jack Perkins and Cameron Masterman… hit .209 with Lansing after 2022 acquisition, but showed well in Midland in 2023: .262/.358/.435 in 68 games… stole 35 bases in 38 attempts; in MiLB career: 98 steals, 10 times caught.
- Brennan Milone: The A’s No. 28 prospect and No. 1 first base prospect… drafted in the 6th round (Oregon) in 2022… transferred to Oregon after two years at South Carolina and flourished with the Ducks: 1st Team All Pac-12 2022, slashing .337/.405/.545 with 12 HR… rewrote Nick Markakis’ baseball records at Woodstock High School in Georgia, ranking among the top prep shortstops in the nation… taught himself to play the guitar in 2020… hit 17 home runs and posted .885 OPS between Stockton (62 G) and Lansing (52 G) in 2023.
- Will Simpson: The A’s No. 30 prospect and No. 2 first base prospect… like Stevie Emanuels, a product of the University of Washington, drafted in the 15th round in 2023… second of four brothers; older brother Jack pitched at Bucknell… All-Pac-12 in 2022 and 2023… 36 home runs ranks fourth all-time at Washington, with 18 hit during his redshirt junior year… dazzling pro debut in Stockton: .322/.373/.522, 11 2B, 4 HR in 29 games.

OUTFIELDERS
- Henry Bolte: The A’s No. 12 prospect and No. 2 outfield prospect (behind Denzel Clarke)… drafted in the 2nd round (56th overall) from Palo Alto High School in 2022, leading California with 13 home runs… signed away from commitment to Texas… 11-game pro debut in 2022 in the Arizona Complex League, following up with 112 games with Stockton last season: .257/.356/.421, 17 2B, 5 3B, 14 HR, 32 steals in 41 attempts… tied for 3rd in California League in steals, 4th in total bases (177), tied for 5th in homers, ranked 5th in RBIs and runs scored, 6th in walks (62).
- Colby Thomas: The A’s No. 14 prospect… drafted in the 3rd round, 2022, 95th overall from Mercer (and signed away from commitment to transfer to Florida), where he had hit 17 home runs in 42 games as a junior before tearing his labrum… did not make his pro debut until 2023, recovering from surgery… enjoyed smashing success in 2023: between Stockton (72 G) and Lansing (54 G), hit .286/.351/.493 with 39 doubles, six triples, 18 home runs (“Colby jacks”) and stole 25 bases in 31 attempts, in addition to numerous extra bases taken by sheer hustle and speed… rocket of a throwing arm.
- Logan Davidson: The A’s No. 25 prospect… 29th overall selection in 2019 (Clemson)… grew up on a 50-acre family farm with a batting cage in a barn and bases chalked into the quarter-mile-long driveway… father played six seasons in the Major Leagues, including two games of the 1987 World Series with the victorious Twins; older sister Taylor was a doubles All-American on the national champion Stanford tennis team… first ever Clemson Tiger to homer from both sides of the plate in the same inning… posted 56-game on-base streak in 2019… skipped from Short-Season Vermont in 2019 to Double-A Midland in 2021… split 2023 between Midland (48 games) and Las Vegas (61 games, his Triple-A debut), hitting .280/.355/.426 with 10 homers.
- Junior Pérez: Junior is his given first name… born on the 4th of July… signed on his 16th birthday by San Diego for $300,00 and was rated the Padres’ No. 16 prospect when they traded him to the A’s for Jorge Mateo (deal done for a player to be named later on June 30, 2020; Pérez named on November 5, 2020)… tremendous power/speed/arm/defense combo: in 117 games with the Lugnuts in 2023, stole 41 bases in 50 attempts, with 27 doubles, two triples and 12 homers… on his 22nd birthday, hit game-winning inside-the-park home run to beat Lake County (Lugnuts won 7-4 on 7/4) in front of the largest crowd in 10 years: 11,521.
- Caeden Trenkle: An Oklahoma State Cowboy like Brady Basso, the first ever Caeden to play professional baseball… drafted in the 9th round in 2022… bothered by injuries in 2023: impressed with defense, speed, surprise pop in 32 games in Lansing (.292/.376/.504, six home runs) before moving up to Double-A Midland for 45 games (.247/.313/.331, two home runs).
