Reno, NV - Tickets are now available for "The Biggest Little Birthday" Reno 150 celebration and Aces game on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Greater Nevada Field. The event starts at 4:00 p.m., and gates open at 5:00 p.m.
"Our year-long Reno 150 campaign will culminate with this special community gathering in downtown," said At-Large Reno City Councilmember David Bobzien, who spearheaded Reno 150. "This is a milestone moment for our great city, and a chance for us to come together and appreciate how far we've come since our founding in 1868."
The Reno Aces vs. Albuquerque Isotopes baseball game is free and open to the public, but attendees will need tickets to enter the stadium. Tickets are available at the following locations. For more information visit Reno.gov/Reno150.

The Team will be wearing commemorative jerseys (images attached) to mark the occasion. These jerseys will be auctioned during the game at Greater Nevada Field, with the proceeds going towards a local charity.
"We are proud to continue our vision of being Reno's community center by partnering with the City of Reno to celebrate this historical birthday," said Eric Edelstein, Aces and 1868 FC President. "Not only will all of Northern Nevada have a chance to celebrate the city's birthday with America's Pastime, but we will give back to the community by auctioning one-of-kind Aces jerseys to benefit the Nevada Historical Society."

The City of Reno and the community have hosted several Reno 150 events during the year-long sesquicentennial celebration.
The City of Reno is encouraging businesses, community groups, nonprofits and other entities to host an official Reno 150 event of their own. To submit your Reno 150 event, visit Reno.gov/Reno150. Approved events will be published on Reno.gov/Reno150. Event organizers and residents are also encouraged to join the conversation on social media by using the hashtag #Reno150.
About the Reno People Project
Part of the City of Reno's year-long Reno 150 sesquicentennial celebration, the Reno People Project has set out to nominate and award past and present residents of our city who have made a significant, positive and influential impact. Ultimately, 150 people will be recognized by May 9, 2018. A total of 124 Reno People have been honored so far. Learn more about the honorees.
The remaining honorees will be recognized on May 9, as well as during the City of Reno's Arbor Day ceremony on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Wingfield Park starting at 10 a.m.
