The MLB Postseason opens with Wild Card games on Oct. 1, but eager fans can go ahead and get into playoff mode right now. At the Rookie and A-ball levels, titles have already been decided or will be in the next couple days. At the Double-A and Triple-A levels, the playoffs are just about to start -- meaning if you act fast, you'll get a taste of October baseball in September and soak in a unique Minor League experience one final time in 2024.

Be sure to check if your local team has playoff games. No matter where you are, here are five Minor League ballparks -- great stadiums to visit any time -- that have postseason baseball on the docket, presented by Wyndham, proud sponsor of Minor League Ballpark Guides.

Keesler Federal Park

Biloxi Shuckers (Double-A Brewers)
Ballpark Guide »
Southern League semifinals
Game 1 on Sept. 17
Playoff baseball and ocean breezes? Yes, please. The Shuckers open a best-of-3 semifinals series against the Rays-affiliated Montgomery Biscuits on Tuesday night at home. Just this year, the team unveiled a newly renovated right-field berm area that maximizes the beachy vibes with a tiki bar, boardwalk and more. Sounds like a pretty great spot to take in a playoff game. Get tickets »

Eastern League semifinals
Game 2 on Sept. 19; Game 3 on Sept. 20
Yard Goats fans have seen great performances from some of MLB's best prospects this year -- think second-ranked RHP prospect Chase Dollander and No. 90 overall Adael Amador -- and they also get to enjoy one of the best ballparks at the Double-A level every game. If you're anywhere in the Northeast, come for the playoff baseball and stay for the live goats and Hartford Neighborhood Flavors Cart featuring eats from local restaurants. Get tickets »

Werner Park

Omaha Storm Chasers (Triple-A Royals)
Ballpark Guide »
International League Championship Series
Game 1 on Sept. 24; Game 2 on Sept. 25
This is one of the most intimate atmospheres for baseball at the Triple-A level, with every seating section holding 18 rows or fewer and offering fantastic sightlines. With the Royals' top-rung affiliate opening a best-of-3 series for the International League title, Werner Park will be the place to be. For the opener, on Sept. 24, the team is giving out rally towels to the first 1,000 fans through the gates. Make sure to grab a slice of locally beloved Valentino's pizza in the park and enjoy the fruits of the Storm Chasers' partnership with Nebraska Brewing Co. Get tickets »

Las Vegas Ballpark

Triple-A National Championship Game
Las Vegas Ballpark Guide »
Sept. 28
The best show in Vegas happens on the last Saturday in September, when the champions of the Pacific Coast League and the International League meet for the winner-take-all Triple-A National Championship Game. Las Vegas Ballpark, which opened in 2019 and is as welcoming and clean as a luxury hotel, is the perfect site for it. Baseballs do tend to fly out of this place, so be ready for a high-scoring affair. Get tickets »
