A celebration of fun, self-expression, and creativity, "Pointy Boots" which originated in North-Central Mexico and made their way into Texas, rose in popularity with the progression of tribal-guarachero music. The moniker honors both Amarillo's young and active hispanic population and the community's centuries-old rich heritage. 

Each Wednesday home game during the 2020 season, as part of MiLB's Copa de la Diversión program, the Sod Poodles will transform into the Pointy Boots de Amarillo! The Pointy Boots de Amarillo will include specialty food, drink, and in-game entertainment that connects with the LatinX community. 

Los Pointy Boots orginaron en el Norte y Centro de México y eventualmente llegaron a Texas asî como el género musical de Tribal-Guanchero que se hizo muy popular. Los Pointy Boots celebran la diversion, la expresión individual y la creatividad. El apodo honra la población Hispana de Amarillo asî como a su comunidad y su herencia. 

¡Cada miércoles partido en HODGETOWN durante la temporada de 2020, con MiLB's Copa de la Diversión programa, los Sod Poodles se convertirá a los Pointy Boots de Amarillo! Los Pointy Boots de Amarillo incluirá comidas y bebidas especiales, y entretenimiento en el juego que conecta con la comunidad de LatinX.
