- Carlos Ocampo, the Brooklyn starter, lasted just one-third of an inning, allowing a triple, RBI double, and back-to-back RBI singles to the first four hitters. Jordy Barley tripled, Onix Vega doubled in a run, Yasel Antuna and Israel Pineda added run-scoring singles to make it 3-0 Blue Rocks.
- Oscar Rojas tossed 4.0 innings of scoreless relief for the Cyclones, striking out four. Colby Morris and Reyson Santos also chipped in scoreless outings as Brooklyn relievers had to cover 7 2/3 innings.
