KEY PLAYS

  • Down 4-3 into the bottom of the eighth, the Cyclones put together a clutch rally to take the lead 6-4. Luis Gonzalez drove in a pair with a two-run single to take the lead, and the Cyclones took advantage of three ‘Birds errors in the frame. Willy Taveras earned the save in the top of the ninth inning, striking out Gunnar Henderson to strand the bases loaded and win the game.
