Cedar Cliff Youth Softball Association to Receive ‘Homefield Makeover’

HARRISBURG, PA. – The Harrisburg Senators are excited to again partner with First National Bank, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corporation (NYSE: FNB), for its ‘Homefield Makeover’ initiative that will provide a field renovation to one local youth baseball or softball league. After receiving applications from over 20 different leagues, Cedar Cliff Youth Softball has been selected as the beneficiary.
The renovation will take place at the Cedar Cliff Youth Softball Association field located in New Cumberland Borough Park, 517 Front Street on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Various projects will be worked on including adding infield dirt, weeding, replacing bases and base anchors, crowning the field to allow runoff, and adding a backstop to the fence. They will receive $10,000 worth of field renovations.
The projects will be completed by volunteers and staff members from the Senators, FNB, and Cedar Cliff Youth Softball Association.
The Senators offices are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily during the offseason. The 2024 home opener at FNB Field is Friday, April 5, against the Erie SeaWolves.
