The Harrisburg Senators wrapped up their six-game set against Akron in dominant fashion on Sunday afternoon at FNB Field, shutting out the RubberDucks 7–0 behind stellar pitching and timely power.

Starter Riley Cornelio was brilliant, tossing five scoreless innings and allowing just two hits while striking out one to earn his fourth win of the season. The bullpen backed him up with four hitless innings, completing a three-hit shutout.

Offensively, the Senators broke the game open late. Carlos De La Cruz launched a two-run homer in the seventh, his 10th of the season, and Phillip Glasser added a two-run shot in the eighth to seal the win. Matt Suggs, and Glasser each had two hits and two RBIs, while Suggs and Paul Witt hit back-to-back doubles in the eighth to fuel a three-run frame. Witt had two hits in the game.

Jack Sinclair, Erick Mejia and Luke Young combined to go the final four innings allowing just one hit.
